In 2003, the Swedish flooring company Bolon underwent a renaissance with the appointment of its new directors Annica and Marie Eklund, who repositioned the company as one of Europe’s leading design brands. In line with this new identity, since 2015 Disegno Works has created the company’s annual magazine, Projects We Love, which serves as a compendium of the company’s activities, inspirations and ideas. Disegno Works provides editorial direction, story development, commissioning, writing and copy editing for the magazine, conducting in-depth interviews with internationally acclaimed design studios such as Doshi Levien, Snøhetta and Jean Nouvel, as well as roundtables, reports, case studies and special photoshoots. The magazine is a sales tool for Bolon, but also a document that showcases the brand’s creativity and design credentials, establishing it at the forefront of design, textile production and environmentally responsible manufacturing.
